Prophet Haze is a Hip-hop/Rap Artist.
Based in Merrillville, Haze had dreams of becoming a basketball player until he was later inspired by creative influences such as ScHoolboy Q and Isaiah Rashad. In an inspired light, he went on to produce his first cover song. Haze first began rapping in 2015, where he would write rhymes on a website called Rappad and share his music with other independent artists. With a laidback personality, he combines a soulful style with upbeat rhythms to tell a story between every bar, artistically portraying a unique style -- “Midwest Jive” -- to produce a quality sound that is reflected in his music.
On November 2018, he released his fourth album, titled Perseverance LP, under the moniker “Darko Grand”. It featured an intense array of lyricism and wordplay. In 2020, he changed his rap name to $moke Dizzy, and released his first EP, Midwest Villain. Shortly after he released his second EP, Zay. On April 28 he released his fifth project, entitled 'Pieces of a Dream'. 'GREEN' followed on August 14, 2020 and featured a new “screwed-n-chopped” sound, with upbeat and laidback soulful rhythms scattered throughout.
